PET bottles for household products

The production of PET bottles in a firm´s own stretch blow moulding machine for its own production plant is becoming a progressively more attractive option, due to the flexibility involved. With a Contiform S stretch blow-moulder, plastic bottles can be produced in-house, and the manufacturer can control the production process. The warehouse capacity is another vital consideration if finished PET bottles are supplied and processed.
The Krones Contiform S is supplied in sizes with 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 24 and 28 blowing stations and outputs of 10,000 to 44,800 containers/h and therefore provides a suitable capacity for a variety of applications. Due to a minimum number of transfer starwheels in the machine, low energy consumption because of the optimal arrangement of heaters and reflector system in the linear oven, and high mechanical performance thanks to exeptionally light aluminium mould carriers, the Contiform provides optimal efficiency. The Contiform S is able to produce non-returnable PET bottles with a volume of up to three litres.
