ModulCheck – space saving inspection technology

The ModulCheck inspection unit provides inspection technology where it is needed. In a filling line, individual inspection units are frequently required, for example, if a complete inspection machine is not necessary at the position involved, or if the available space is limited. For such cases, Krones offers the cost-efficient ModulCheck inspection system, which comprises one or two camera units and can be easily installed on the conveyor. ModulCheck is based on the IRIS inspection technology and can be used for inspecting empty and full bottles.
This compact system can be used, for example, for glass containers with a height of 60 to 400 mm and a diameter of 50 to 110 mm. On empty bottles, sealing surface, lateral neck finish, sidewall and contour can be examined. On full bottles, suspended matter can be detected, and the design and the position of the closure and the fill level can be monitored.
