The most modern double-end bottle washer in the world, the Krones Lavatec KD 4,2 Reku/D-CD, produces uniformly sterile glass botles. Highest standard was achieved thanks to the redesigned rear of the bottle washer. Windows and pump intake housings without dead corners, external showering units featuring round pipes and a newly designed bottle slide with individual profiles made of antimicrobial plastic are major aspects of the Clean Design bottle washer. The automatic interior cleaning feature considerably increases the machine´s availability. Another advantage of the redesigned machine is the drastically reduced operating costs: the consumption of water, caustic solutions and additives has been cut by 50 %.
