Hygienically optimal cleaning technology: double-end machines

The Lavatec KD series provides a variety of bottle washers that perfectly meet all requirements concerning the separation of contaminated and cleaned bottles. Long soaking times in the caustic bath, different pre-heating and main caustic treatment modules allow the machine to be adapted to suit the individual contamination of the empty containers. Of course, saving resources is one of the objectives of our cleaning technology: Saving water and chemical additives is the main target of all system improvements.
Moha Soft Drinks (Pepsi), Awassa, Ethiopia, also relies on field-proven Krones technology with its KD 4,2 CD. Important requirements of this plant are the optimal treatment of the frequently extremely contaminated soft drinks bottles already in the pre-cleaning zone and the achievement of excellent hygienic conditions in the post-treatment zone with the use of Clean Design. The machine handles 0.33-l Pepsi, Mirinda and 7up bottles at a speed of 39,600 bph.
