Valve series EvoGuard – perfect for beverage production

Perfect processes for producing beverages require high-performance valve technology. The new EvoGuard valve series from Krones offers numerous advantages in terms of both daily operation and continuous maintenance of the components involved.

Particularly noteworthy is the seal used in the EvoGuard valves, which excels in terms of lengthy useful lifetime and ultra-convenient seal replacement. The seal compound and its installation space take due account of the high temperature fluctuations a valve is exposed to during daily operation in both production and cleaning modes. For the maintenance staff, the standardised radial and axial seals mean that only one seal version is required.
The actuator, too, has been optimised for high performance. Examples here include the welded, maintenance-free actuator design, and with the double-seat valves on option for fast cycling with minimised compressed-air consumption.

Krones EvoGuard valves are available in all commonly used connection variants and with the nominal diameters customarily encountered in the food and beverage industries. The product range subsumes disk valves, single-seat valves, double-seal and double-seat valves, so that all process areas can be equipped with a harmonised range of valves. The German Gaffel Brewery in Cologne has already been persuaded of the high-performance valves’ advantages, and has ordered both disk valves and double-seat valves.
