Krones assumes responsibility for the health and safety of its employees
Preserving and promoting the health and safety of all employees is a vital constituent of our company’s goals. Our corporate culture stringently prohibits subordinating to commercial considerations the protection of those people who contribute towards our success.
In order to avoid workplace accidents and occupational diseases, we create a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. Krones also provides a high-quality corporate medical service, to maintain the health and wellbeing of its people.
To complement this, under the aegis of its Counselling Department, Krones provides intra-company integration management for staff who are no longer able to perform their original jobs. In addition, a full-time counsellor supports all staff in coping with any job-related or private problems.
In November 2009, the government of the state of Bavaria awarded Krones the Occupational Health and Risk Management System (OHRIS) Certificate for its commitment to occupational safety. OHRIS takes into account national and international standards for occupational safety and health.
