Theory and Practice Side by Side

A good example of the close collaboration with science is our long-standing collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences and the University of Regensburg. With practical semesters and theses, we offer the new generation of scientists the necessary closeness to industry and thus cultivate a mutually beneficial transfer of knowledge and technology.

Student trainees and graduands are given realistic projects to handle during their time at Krones, which usually spans several months. The best of the more than one hundred theses that have emerged from our company over the last five years were rewarded by Krones with a prize. For some graduands, this also marked the start of their career in our company. Krones supports this progression with a graduand programme with the aim of securing the graduates-to-be as highly-skilled employees for Krones.
