Commitment and Involvement

The principles of sustainability also extend to our societal commitment. Above and beyond our corporate responsibilities, we strongly embrace our responsibility in social and cultural affairs and in the science world (Corporate Citizenship). We offer targeted help – primarily with projects in our region – in the form of donations and sponsorship and with knowledge and contacts.

Regional
Krones AG is supporting the "Zweites Leben e.V." association with donations. This association looks after people who are suffering from the after-effects of a stroke or from craniocerebral injuries.

As a sponsor of the Regensburg University of Applied Sciences Foundation, for example, the company supports the local university of applied sciences in various events and in a cultural exchange between the students.

Krones has also shown a long-standing commitment to culture. The Neutraubling choirs provided a particular cultural highlight with Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana". The concert took place not in a conventional concert hall but in a Krones production hall.

Internationally
Krones AG will increase its international commitment significantly in future, particularly in the developing countries. Apart from the "usual" donations to aid organisations, the company will set up some of its own projects.
