A jump start for a successful career
A company that wants to be a top global player in the long run like Krones needs a highly qualified staff. The basis for this is first-class professional training. Krones offers young people attractive education opportunities. We currently have 26 different apprenticed professions. The trainees are being prepared for the challenges they will face in the future. Every year, we invest on an average between 65,000 and 70,000 € in the training of each young employee. This investment pays off in the long run, the staff as well as the company profit from the high qualification level of the Krones team.
When it comes to choosing trainees, Krones is very selective. Of approximately 1,500 school graduates that apply for a job every year, we invite about 600 to job-specific employment tests. Only half of them get the opportunity to convince us of their skills in a personal job interview.
At the end of 2007, a total of 451 young people have successfully finished their training at Krones in Germany. With this process, we continuously train and educate our permanent staff to handle our current and future growth and to maintain our maximum quality level.
